About

Alison Dawson is a Canadian textile jewelry artist. Her artistic practice focuses on new interpretation of contemporary jewelry. Working with a variety of textile based materials, she sews with silk or cotton fabric, manipulates Japanese cords, and plays with color and texture. The outcome is a light weight sculptural wearable design.
